Famous Last Wordsのチョコプラ風訳

コピーバンドで雰囲気のある歌い方をするボーカルって、曲の意味を自分なり解釈してそれを表現するらしいってのを聞いたことがあったので、ボーカルのこにたんにやってみれば？とちょっと言ってみました。それがひとつ前のこにたんのエントリーです。

普段、音楽聴いてる時は、歌詞はハチャメチャな感じでメロディの構成要素のひとつでいいやと思ってることが多いので、あまり歌詞に意識を払ったことはなかったのですが、せっかくなので言いだしっぺの自分でも１曲選んで挑戦してみることにしました。

選んだ曲は、「The Black Parade」の実質最後の曲「Famous Last Words」。Chocolate Planの次回ライブに向けた練習では、一番最後に練習を始めた曲なんですが、メロディとか展開とかかなりドラマチックで好きな曲です。

この曲、訳してて思ったのですが、死の最後の言葉をテーマにした曲の割には、サビで

僕は生き続けることを恐れない

僕はこの世を一人で歩いていくことも恐れない

と、歌っているように全体的にポジティブな印象を受ける曲です。

全体的な解釈という意味では、「I」と「You」のどちらが死に行く人なのかとか、他の曲の歌詞とかインタビュー記事とか読まないとよく解らないところもあるので、自分なりの解釈コメントも追記しながらした部分アップしてみます。
